A Snow White Christmas Bouquet

Baby’s breath kind of looks like a bunch of snowflakes. I love to use white flowers in winter. I find it fits better with the season. This vase created a few years ago… but I think the arrangement still looks very good. Simple designs tend to survive longer. I would probably choose a smaller vase today, because we have moved. The apartment is arranged very differently, but we also have much less space to display things.

Carnations and baby’s breath or gypsophila are both very affordable flowers and available year round. You can also put together a huge arrangement if you have the space. Or even better you group three different sized vases. This way, the arrangement will look more today.

Materials

approximately 2 dozen white carnations
1 bunch of baby’s breath
florist twine
narrow, white vase

Instruction

Give the carnation stems a fresh cut and remove all small leaves. Tie the flowers into a circle and place in the vase. A flower hedgehog for the carnations can be very helpful. Then place the baby’s-breath around the carnations like a wreath.
