Handmade Christmas Tree Greeting Cards
This year, I decided to make our own Christmas cards again. I’ve always loved working with paper, and my collection of colours and textures has grown wonderfully large over the years—perfect for a little seasonal creativity. These cards are simple to make, yet surprisingly charming.
It’s the perfect activity for a cold, pre-Christmas evening: a warm drink nearby, soft music playing, and a table scattered with paper, scissors, and the gentle joy of crafting.

The pink tree is for our concierge—she adores the colour pink, so it felt perfectly fitting. The black tree is for a friend who’s rarely seen in anything but black, making it a playful nod to her signature style.
The remaining cards are simply variations on the rest of this year’s Christmas designs, each with its own little twist.

Creating
Choose an envelope size.
Select a card stock that will fit inside once folded—cut it to size if necessary.
Download a tree template, and punch out a handful of paper baubles in colours you like.
Trace the tree template onto green paper—or any colour that suits your design—and cut out the trees.
Fold the card stock in half and glue the tree to the front of the card. Allow it to dry.
Then, using a tiny drop of liquid glue, place it on the back of each paper bauble. With flat tweezers, gently position the bauble on the tree. Repeat until your tree is decorated to your liking.
HAVE FUN!
