I love Sundays in Advent — even when the rain falls without rest and the sky lingers in that quiet, half-lit grey. They feel like a soft pause in the season: a day for staying in, for writing Christmas cards at the table, for the sweet warmth of cookies in the oven, for a familiar holiday film glowing in the background, for an unhurried afternoon nap — and for the simple, precious luxury of just being.
