Wrapping Bottles in the Style of Winter Roses
These bottles are wrapped in a delicate yet eye-catching style, each adorned with a large tissue-paper rose. Their light, refined appearance makes them stand out beautifully, while the white and silver paper lends them a perfect winter look. The same idea works just as well throughout the year in soft pink or rich red tones, creating a warmer, more romantic feel.
Wrap the bottle in several layers of tissue paper and secure them neatly with tape. Fold the paper at the base inward and fasten it in place. Tie a piece of thick thread around the neck of the bottle and trim the ends. Gently gather the excess paper at the top, crinkle it, and shape it carefully into soft, petal-like folds. To finish it, adorn the neck with a beautiful satin ribbon.
Paper roses can also be used to decorate a gift box. Use three or four tissue paper strips. Accordion fold the beginning bottom part and wrap the rest loosely around the the bottom. Tape it tightly and cut the bottom off except about 1/2″. Glue the paper flower onto a wrapped box. Once the glue is dry, form the paper into a blossom.
