Folding Paper Stars
Wrap a present with a pretty, plain paper. The paper star should be the focal point. This is also a wonderful project to teach children as it is fairly easy to accomplish.

“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder
Instructions

- Fold a letter sized piece of paper along its width into even folds like an accordion
- Fold it in half to determine the center and staple
- Cut a half moon along the side with the open fold
- Fold ends
- Tape together
- Repeat on other side
- Glue or tape snow star onto box

Snow stars aren’t really suited for long-term outdoor use. Still, if the weather stays dry, they will look lovely outside for a day or two—sparkling gently and adding a fleeting touch of winter magic.

Snow stars can also be repurposed as delicate Christmas tree decorations, adding a handmade charm and a touch of winter magic to the branches. Their intricate shapes catch the light beautifully, evoking the quiet elegance of freshly fallen snow.
