Cut the gift wrap as long as the circumference of the box plus about an extra inch. The width of the paper should be once the width of the box plus about 2/3.

Fold one end over to get a clean seam and wrap the paper around the box. The folded edge will stay on top. Tape in place.

Turn the box with one opening towards you. Fold the top flap down along the edge of the box. Crease along the sides.

Fold the right flap along the edge of the box.

Repeat the same with the left flap.

At last fold the bottom flap along the edge of the box.

Tape the corner. Repeat the same process on the opposite side of the box.

Turn the box over and add a ribbon if desired.
