The Ice Garden
The day those images were taken was very, very cold. The only people out were dog owners and a few photographers. But on some of the images you can see the golden glow of the morning sun. The pictures were taken in January of 2000 with a Sony Mavica. It was the first digital camera we owned. The images were stored on floppy disks and had a resolution of 640 pixels by 480 pixels. That's 0.3 MP! A floppy would hold about 30 images. Photographs by Esther Schönwandt [ Back to index ] |
