A Piece of Art

This is a gift for the lover of modern art.

What you need:

• stretched, primed canvas (14" x 11")
• 2 colors of oil or acrylic paint
• gold or silver leaf
• brush

Choose two colors that will blend nicely. I used red and black. Squirt the dark paint onto the one end of the canvas and the lighter color onto the opposite end. The start brushing the paint from one end to the other and nicely blend them together. Once you are happy with the way the paint looks, place a piece of gold or silver leaf onto the still wet paint. Sign the piece.

Do not warp it until it is completely dry.
