Champagne in a Red Tote

Materials and sizes needed for the gift

2 rectangles of red felt
8" by 10.5" (20cm by 26.5cm)

1 strip of red felt 4.75" by 29" (12cm by 74cm)

2 red ribbons 18" (45cm each)

Sturdy cardboard 4.5" by 7.75" (19cm by 11cm)

Bottle of champagne

2 champagne flutes
Tissue paper

Instructions

Pin the felt strip along 3 sides of the first rectangle. Use a sewing machine to attach the parts. Then pin the second rectangle onto the felt strip and repeat the stitching.

Fold the ends of the ribbon in by about 3/4" (2cm) to give it a nice finished look and then sew them onto the front and back side of the bag.

Instead of red felt one can use faux fur for a more glam look.

The tote can alternatively be filled with pocket books.
