Orange Diamonds

orange diamonds

Ingredients

80 grams butter
80 grams sugar
1 egg
40 grams candied orange peel
1 teaspoon fresh orange peel
1 teaspoon fresh lemon peel
1 tablespoon Grand Marnier
150 grams flour

Glaze

80 grams icing sugar
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
fresh orange peel
1/2 orange juice

Preparation

Mix all ingredients to a smooth dough. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Roll out into a rectangle as thick as candied orange peel is. Then cut out diamonds.
Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 7 to 10 minutes. Mix all ingredients for glaze and brush it on while cookies are still warm.
