Cinnamon Stars

Ingredients

250 grams sugar
3 egg whites
250 grams ground almonds
1 ground lemon peel
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
50 grams potato flour

Icing

1 egg white
powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Mix together until smooth and not too liquid. Then brush on cinnamon stars.

Preparation

Mix sugar and egg whites together. Add almonds, lemon peel, cinnamon, and potato flour to mixture. Let dough rest in cool place for 30 minutes.
Roll out dough on sugar until about 1/2 cm thick, cut into stars, place on buttered baking sheet, and glaze the stars with the icing. Let cookies dry for 1 to 2 hours then bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
