Comfort Zone

Today blankets are not needed as much anymore as they were years ago. Nevertheless we like to sit in front of the TV at night and curl up in a blanket when it gets a little colder.

Those two blankets shown are very easy to make. The right one is made out of camel wool with a very soft charcoal-colored velvet border. The other one is made from a fabric which I found on sale and decided to make it into a blanket. The back side is a raw silk with a stitched flower pattern.

The Sun and the Moon

I bought these two ornaments last summer in Germany as a souvenir. I love them so much that have been hanging on my night table lamp ever since. Just because they are called Christmas ornaments does not mean that one can not display them all year round.
